About once a week, I get an email or phone call from an aspiring voice over talent, asking how to break into the biz.  
 
I could write a book - and many people have already done that - on what one needs to do to attempt a career in voice over.  So, rather than recreating the wheel, I generally refer them to a couple of books I find to be top notch.

Randy Thomas and Peter Rofe recently co-authored "Voice for Hire: Launch and Maintain a Lucrative Career in Voice Overs" - the book is set to hit bookstores next week.  Randy has a busy schedule coming up with booksignings and appearances. She's actually doing a booksigning right here in Fort Myers, FL on Saturday, October 11 at the Borders at the Gulf Coast Town Center.  It's actually more than a booksigning - it's going to be a little party, really, being held in collaboration with Breast Cancer Awareness month.

So, the booksigning is beginning to get press around here, and yours truly was honored to be interviewed for this article:
